Why I'm torn on this

Breakfast surrounded by the sights of the tropical forest, including monkeys and toucans, was good.

Despite the lovely ambiance, I found the pool area somewhat lacking in comfort. It could use more lounge options. The early morning monkey wake-up calls were a bit too much, disrupting our sleep.

The room was tidy, and it had climate control and a private safe that were useful.

Honestly no complaints. Neat and beautiful rooms with 10 dollar extra, the balcony and a comfortable temperature, excellent stay! Very amiable and extremely helpful staff always on hand. Location just next door to puerto viejo downtown, shops and restaurants and both beach. Good and excellent food for breakfast.

A rusty faucet and broken shower indicate a lack of maintenance and cleanliness should be a priority!!! The owners might consider better managing staff interactions to avoid uncomfortable situations!!!

Fantastic choice for a couple getaway

We got to watch monkeys swing through the trees while enjoying breakfast on our balcony every morning. The swimming pool was particularly refreshing after a long day exploring the nearby beaches, but the best part, honestly, was how helpful and caring the staff was throughout our stay.

It wasn't exactly inexpensive, but worth every penny.

A peaceful stay with fine views every morning, watching monkeys and toucans during breakfast was a delight. The pool offered a refreshing retreat, while friendly staff ensured we felt well taken care of. The ceiling fan was nonfunctional, and the soy milk available for breakfast was expired. Still, the attractive surroundings was nice.

Our kids loved the shallow waves and building sandcastles, and the abundant local wildlife made every morning special. The hotel's garden was a beautiful spot to relax while the kids played safely.

My kids wished there were more kid-friendly activities on-site.

The beautiful little hotel is located close to wildlife and different beaches. The location is absolutely perfect, surrounded by animal voices in a wonderful jungle setting.
